The UK E-CLIC Conference successfully took place on the 10th October 2014 at the Royal Society of Edinburgh, with relevant members of the public, private and third sectors, and of the general public attending. Along with presentations and discussions with experts in different aspects and approaches to landscape planning, management and protection in the UK, the conference also involved a series of workshops. These were focused on discussing the three challenges set for the E-CLIC UK Competition (Open until the end of November!!), namely; historic changes in upland landscapes, pressures of renewable energies on coastal and marine landscapes and the complex dynamics of peri-urban landscapes.
